How do I use the L1?

For first-timers, follow the initial setup instructions here ( https://www.theinfraway.com/welcome ). Open the Infraway app and gently shake your L1 to wake it up. Once your L1 has connected, secure the wrap around your waist and directly on the skin so the heating pad is on your lower back. Then, select your direct time and temperature. This is perfect for warming up, relaxing at home, or getting recovery on the go.

What temperature should I use?

Most users prefer 120°F–130°F for recovery and maintenance, while 125°F–140°F is ideal for warm-ups. Adjust based on what feels most comfortable for you.

Sleep Mode

When the L1 is dormant for five minutes, it will enter a sleep mode to conserve battery life. To wake it up and reestablish the connection, gently shake the device, and your L1 will connect. We recommended waking up the device and establishing the connection before putting it on your lower back. Otherwise, you might have to dance around a bit to get it connected :) If the connection seems to be taking long, quit the app and refresh and it should connect. If you are still having trouble, contact us at hello@theinfraway.com and we will troubleshoot with you.

How are we different?

The L1 is designed with movement in mind. We are built for high utility, everyday, everywhere use. Unlike other products, the L1 is extremely discreet and lightweight, allowing for actual "wearability". This, paired with our dual heat technology, gives users more opportunities to wear the product and experience the benefits of topical and infrared heat anywhere, anytime. The L1 also doesn't have an on/off button, we are exclusively controlled via the Infraway App, allowing for completely custom and hands-free heat therapy.

How long does the battery last?

Up to 120 minutes depending on the selected temperature. Higher settings (135°F+) will reduce battery life due to increased energy demands.

Most users will experience 80-100 minutes worth of use out of a single charge.

How do I charge the L1?

Compatible with any USB-C charger. The included OEM charger is reliable, but higher-capacity USB-C chargers may provide faster charging.
